If you read (watch) the news of the world, you see the works of the devil. If you read the news of the Bible, you see the works of Jesus Christ. There is a place called the Kingdom of Heaven that we can enter into and be safe from the things of the world, although we live in the world but are not OF the world. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:8) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev 12:9) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitors of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Rev 12:12) Tags: biblical knowledge • sin • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

The soul that sinneth, it shall die (i.e., be separated from God). (EZE 18:4) God cannot look upon sin. Sin translated means to; miss the mark and therefore not share in the prize.Sin is the transgression of the law (I John 3:4). God said, "I will not enter into the city" (HOSEA 11:9). Even God's own Son cried out on the cross, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me?" (MATT 27:46) Therefore, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, for it is written, Cursed [is] everyone who hangeth on a tree. (GALATIONS 3:13) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. (I PETER 3:18) Just in the fact that you are alive today, attests to the mercy of God, that we should repent and turn to God through Jesus Christ and be healed (saved).
