Publishing is struggling these days is the one common theme heard at the conference, be it from editors or from agents alike. Many of my colleagues said the same thing in a conversation which took place yesterday. Continue what you are doing, continue to submit, continue to write, keep moving forward. This is my advice to you during this time. Why does it seem senseless to wait until next year and what do agents do around this time? These are two of the questions that have been asked.
