Homosexuality is a right, that's man's law. When you think about children, you have to think about parents. When you think about man, you have to think about God.We live in a country where freedom supercedes the law of God. Do you fear God or man? For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense (a reward given in compensation) of their error (wrong opinion relative to morals or religion; or one led astray from the right way; or decieve) which was necessary. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. One day, you could be sitting in your house messing with your computer, eating supper, doing whatever it is that you do. Then one day, your house could burn down or be destroyed when you are not there, or could move to a different home. So you would have to find another house to live in.Now, just because your house is no longer there or you moved doesn't mean you are no longer alive does it? Just as we live in a house, our spirit lives in our body. Just because our body dies, we are still alive because our body just houses our spirit. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. II Corinthians 5:1-11 Let us get right with God, in our spirit first, then our mind and body will follow suit to be healed. Tags: spirit • knowledge • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

When Opinion Matters - The evolution of action The other day I saw a commercial for 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to the sci-fi horror movie 28 Days Later...Now I think that it would be pretty scary if "news" or "opinion" became "knowledge". Then we would have mind control firmly in place, as those who were powerful enough to expouse "news" or "opinion" would also be in charge of "knowledge". Let's hope society has higher standards! Now you know, when you become a parent, why it is that OUR parents always laughed at us in glee when the topic of US becoming parents came up. Mine always said "When you are a parent, it will be a payback for everything we are going through", all ended with the Wicked Witch of the West laugh from the Wizard of Oz.I understand that now as I didn't then. We hear all the experts saying how easy it is to discipline your children and make them turn out perfect. HA! It is difficult to find the right mix of love and discipline. But, let's learn from each other's mistakes and do something about it. Parents, when your kids do something wrong...do you just blow it off and hope it doesn't happen again. Do you enter shouting matches with your children? (If so, by the way, they won) Children constantly test their boundaries. I have four of my own ranging from 20 to 13. It seems more and more that the things they think are no big deal and go pretty much unpunished become bad habits (lifelong ones). We are reponsible for our children. We must guide them. We HAVE to respond to things done wrong with a consequence. Everyone makes mistakes. God knows we all have and will continue to. If we offer no consequence for a negative behavior, we will only cry all the harder when something REALLY goes wrong and they are in danger. Oh why didn't I do something sooner? Do it now, give discipline along with love. I, like everyone else blew off some of the smaller battles, but I have learned that those small ignored battles just lead to a test for a bigger battle. Power: ability to do or act; capability of doing or accomplishing something. How important is knowledge to power? Some say knowledge is power. Yet, for power you must also act or do something. Knowledge alone does not give you power. Tags: power • knowledge • 0 Comments. - Permalink |
