If you read (watch) the news of the world, you see the works of the devil. If you read the news of the Bible, you see the works of Jesus Christ. There is a place called the Kingdom of Heaven that we can enter into and be safe from the things of the world, although we live in the world but are not OF the world. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:8) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev 12:9) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitors of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Rev 12:12) Tags: biblical knowledge • sin • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Oh the mercy of God. No matter what our condition, if we pray to God through Jesus Christ He will hear and answer our prayer, particularly healing. So let us be content with what we have and not covet, for He loves a meek and quiet spirit, and He will never leave us or forsake us. (Heb 13:5) The trying of your faith worketh patience (James 1:3) Tags: healing • patience • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Brother, do not lose hope, for through much tribulation shall we enter into the kingdom of God.And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; yea, sayeth the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them. Some teach about a "rapture" (that christians will disappear from the earth BEFORE the great tribulation.)It is clear from reading the word of God that christians will indeed go through the great tribulation, i.e., the plagues that God will send upon the wicked of the earth. Paul talks about this in II Thessalonians 2, to console the christians who fear the day of Christ is at hand. Two things must happen before we are gathered together with Him to go to Jerusalem. For Zechariah 14:1-5 says, concerning the day of the lord, we will flee (to flit [dictionary meaning] to change one's residence, to remove) to the valley of the mountains of Jerusalem. Those two things that must happen are: - There shall first come a falling away (departure from the truth of God, divorce)
- Then, that man of sin (antichrist) be revealed, the son of perdition, who shall say he is God and when he comes into being (taken, verse 7) then shall that Wicked (Satan) be revealed (verse 8) who the Lord shall destroy, whose coming is after the working of Satan (verse 9). But God has chosen you to salvation (deliverance, preservation, safety, verse 13) but we need not fear for God will be with us during the tribulation period.
I John 5:8 says, for there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one. And I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, come out (escape or get out) of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues, i.e., Lot being guided out of Sodom. For her sins have reached unto Heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities (Rev 18:4-5) Thank God the Holy Spirit of God will not depart from the earth that we could be saved. Thank God for Jesus Christ, who will never leave us or forsake us. But brethren, let us pray now to God that He will forgive us for our sins by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us confess our faults one to another and pray one for another that we may be healed. (Rev 19:9, Heb 13:5, James 5:15, I John 1:7) Tags: rapture • tribulation • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Many religious leaders teach that there will be a "rapture." Not so. The one verse that they stake their claim on is proven by studying the word of God to be the opposite of what they teach. In II Thessalonians 2:7, they [the religious leaders] claim this is the Holy Spirit being taken from the earth, which of course is not possible. In the verse 2:7 it reads: Only he who now letteth (holds back, or will hold back), will let, until he be taken (to become, to come into existence, begin to be, etc.) out of the way (middle, the midst, in the midst of, amongst). If you translated the words taken and way from their Greek origin, it would read: until the antichrist comes into being or existence from among us then shall that Wicked be revealed. Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing Psalms (James 5:13)If your church is not capable of providing healing by prayer, then you pray for yourself. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. If you turn to man (the world, doctors, medicine, etc.) then that will be your reward. Tags: biblical knowledge • affliction • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

The kinetic energy of knoweldge is the extra energy which it possesses due to its thought. It is defined as the work needed to accelerate a body of a knowledge from books to its common knowledge. Having gained this energy during its acceleration, the knowledge maintains this kinetic energy unless its thought changes. Negative work of the same magnitude would be required to return the knowledge to a state of rest from that thought.Note that kinetic energy of knowledge increases with the square of the thought (E = ½m·v2 relationship). This means that if the thought of a knowledge doubles, it has four times as much knowledge. Tags: thought • knowledge • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Jesus' disciple John, who wrote the book of Revelation, should be an example for us because he was put into a pot of boiling oil to kill him. When they were not successful in killing him, they abandoned him to an island called Patmos and there he received these revelations:Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit sayeth unto the churches: he that overcometh shall not be hurt of the sickened death (Rev 2:10-11) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation: And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on earth (Rev 5:9-10) Tags: bible facts • courage • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

When Adam fell (falling from a spiritual union with God to now an earthly being) he became earthy (of the earth).Man, now in his fallen state, having now his intellect reigning instead of his spirit, (his spirit now lusting or desiring to do that which is forbidden James 4:5) puts his trust in the things of the world (man, medicine, ideas, government helps, etc.) which could never save a man's soul. It is temporary help which does not mend the root problem, which is sin. But, when a man says, "God save me, I have had enough", he totally abandons the world's help and trusts solely in his Saviour Jesus Christ even unto death. The reason why many religious leaders and doctors of the law cannot drink of the new wine is because they have been taught from their youth by man.Even though they use the Bible as their main tool, in most cases they cannot break away when the Holy Spirit draws them because they fear man, not God. If we will let God pull at our hearts and follow him unconditionally, we will see things that were hidden from our eyes...by His Spirit.
