What inspired you to launch your own website?

I needed a personal site to market my writing.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

My personal site.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I used my pen name.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It's mine.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

All I want to do is find readers for my books.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I spend masses of time for few results, because I an confident of the worth of my work.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would employ a PR firm.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Trim the content.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Marketing the books!

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Writing articles.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

No.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

My own site has run for six months. I will keep it going as long as I have books on the market.
