If you read (watch) the news of the world, you see the works of the devil. If you read the news of the Bible, you see the works of Jesus Christ. There is a place called the Kingdom of Heaven that we can enter into and be safe from the things of the world, although we live in the world but are not OF the world.The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:8)
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev 12:9) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitors of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Rev 12:12)
