What inspired you to launch your own website?
There is a lot of interest in our products and we wanted to share what we do with the online community.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is the first website I've ever done.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It was the name chosen for the products from the beginning.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We have several unique products not found elsewhere. But the website is still in development and many products have yet to be added.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To grow the business, and yes, make money!
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I've invested a lot of time, but I've never done anything like this before. We have minimal monetary investment. The site is in its early stages, so there is no gauge of success at this time.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Hmmm, not sure. I don't think that's a concern at this stage.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I've had to redo the site once, and I'm finding that I've made several mistakes. I've got alot more to learn.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting traffic to the site
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
So far, I've done very little. I'm finding directories to submit the site to right now.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I never really had any expectations. I enjoy most aspects of running the site.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I've been running it since the beginning, about 3 months ago. I'll keep it up for as long as we're in business.
How are you learning about running a website?
The internet is a great source of info. I'm a member of a webmaster forum , and I've been listing to several podcasts as well.
