It is a window to learning about my book, just published by Random House.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I think the book will be very helpful to many people so I want them to know about it

This is my first website, launched three months ago.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It is my name.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I believe that it takes readers to a book that they will find very interesting and helpful.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To increase the number of people who know about the book.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It's too early to know. The time has been considerable, but success is still in the future.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I am satisfied with the website as it is.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I am surprised at how complicated and costly it can be to maintain the site.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Connecting with others on the web.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I am just beginning to do that now.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
There is a lot of detailed work. I don't do that sort of thing easily.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Three months. I don't know how long I'll keep going. That depends on the success ahead.
Why do you go through the effort
I do it out of hope that the web is a way to be in contact with people who will read my book and then tell me how it has helped them. Or, what I could have done to make it a better book for them.
